LAUGHING GRACEFULLY
LAUGHING GRACEFULLY
___________________
Juicy watermelon
seeps from her pretty lips,
trickling down her chin
which bright sunlight caresses.
And she laughs gracefully.
Reflected in her eyes
I see my loving hunger,
and beg her: kiss me my love ,
for this is our parting.
And she laughs gracefully.
I recall she calls herself
the Death Angel,
about to raise, so I tell her
I am out for the longest run.
And she laughs gracefully.
Why do I see her so lovely?
Why don’t I doubt her name?
Because… what or who she is
only those very ill, doubt not.
And pray her to keep laughing gracefully.
